Chris spent eight years as a solicitor in private practice working for a large firm based in Oxford before moving in-house in 1988, when he joined Cheltenham & Gloucester; there he undertook a number of different roles latterly as Head of Legal Services and Company Secretary. Chris retired from C&G in 2010 and since then has been running his own business consultancy, advising a number of regulatory and other organisations on financial and business matters.
