Julie is a successful board director, consultant and facilitator who has spent over twenty-five years responsible for delivering results in sales and service in the BPO outsourcing market. Her roles have included Business Development Director, Client Services Director, Sales and Marketing Director and General Manager.

Translating strategy into implementation became her trademark – execution – making it happen.

She has spent much of her career planning and leading change initiatives within the organizations she has worked for and on behalf of her clients. These initiatives were to drive the growth of the organization (s) and were integral parts of the corporate strategy. The success of these strategies depended on engaging the ‘hearts and minds’ of the people within the organisation and creating meaning for them for the many changes they were asked to make.

This led to Julie specializing in this field and she took her MSc in Change Strategy and Facilitation Skills, with Surrey University, whilst leading the organization she was Business Development Director with through a MEBO (Management Employee Buy Out) and trade sale. This meant that academic theory was tried and tested directly in the business arena.
Julie is known for bringing direct, honest and supportive challenge to those she works with. Mixed with a healthy dose of humor – essential!

She has been a director for the Management Consultancy Association and non-executive director for First Place Consulting Ltd, which was one of the fastest growing consultancies in the 1990’s. Her director roles include Merchants Ltd, TSC Ltd and beCogent Ltd (winner of the Sunday Times fast track growth for 2 consecutive years).

During her career in training and development Julie designed and delivered many customer focused, leader and management development and performance programs. Some of her customers have included: HSBC/First Direct, Transocean, Centrica, Pfizer, West LB, Dimension Data Holdings, National Australia Group, Standard Life, AMP, IBM, BAI, and John Lewis Direct.

Significant assignments include the delivery of a Customer Focus Lean Management Process Employee Engagement program for Standard Life plc, which involved circa 3,000 people, an organization back-office re-structure for a German Investment Bank and the set-up and launch of First Direct Bank.

Julie’s work is international and she works with many different cultures to assist her clients to achieve their aims. This includes EMEA, US, Asia-Pacific and across Africa.
