LBC Wise Counsel’s Summer Party
Every year we hold a summer party for all past delegates, Wise Owls, presenters and all our supporters associated with the LBCambridge events; this year, LBC Wise Counsel's 10th anniversary, we are opening this up to include as many people as we can who have been supporters of LBC Wise Counsel over the past ten years.
The summer party this year will take place in central London on Thursday 8 July and will include the inaugural Peter Wylde lecture. Peter was a partner in Irwin Mitchell and instrumental in helping us to establish LBCambridge. Last year Peter died following a battle with cancer and in his honour our annual summer party will now include a presentation on a significant soft skills theme. This year our guest presenter is Mike Brearley.
Mike Brearley is a full-time psychoanalyst in private practice in London. He is President of the British Psychoanalytical Society and a Fellow of the Institute of Psychoanalysis. He writes and lectures on psychoanalysis and occasionally works for companies, giving talks and seminars on subjects such as team-building and motivation and acting as a consultant to partnerships, boards and individual executives. He played cricket for Cambridge University, Middlesex, and England; he was captain of Middlesex for twelve years and of England in 31 Tests between 1977 and 1981.
