David leads the Siemens GB&I Cross Business Legal Team, which is responsible for supporting Siemens businesses and corporate functions in the UK and Ireland on a diverse range of legal topics including corporate, communications and sponsorship, data protection, litigation, pensions, procurement, real estate, research and development, and shared services. Before joining Siemens David was Counsel at WilmerHale between 2007 and 2011, leading its UK Technology Transactions and Licensing team and advising a variety of technology businesses (from large multinationals to VC-backed start-up businesses) on intellectual property, data protection and general commercial matters. David started his career with Slaughter and May, qualifying into what was then the Intellectual Property department.  He began as a generalist, advising on both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, before focusing on M&A, licensing and advisory work relating to intellectual property, data protection and technology.
