Helen Dodds is the Head of Legal, Dispute Resolution, in the Group Legal Department at Standard Chartered Bank. She set up the Group Legal Dispute Resolution Team in 2005 and has a global role. She is responsible for managing the group’s material disputes around the world as well as having oversight of overseas teams managing non-material disputes. She is also responsible for reporting to main board level and training on disputes. The Group Legal Risk team also reports to her.
At Standard Chartered Bank Helen sits on the Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Risk Committee and is a founder member of the bank’s UK Diversity Council.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank in 2001 Helen worked in house at GE and Bank of Cyprus (London) Limited, and in private practice at Durrant Piesse/Lovell White Durrant (now Hogan Lovells).
Helen is a Committee member of Network for Knowledge and a director of the LCIA.
