John was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1994 and has worked in-house for almost 25 years at companies specialising in the technology industry, namely software development, implementation and hardware re-selling.

John began his career at Unitech Systems, Inc. in Chicago as a staff attorney and after 12 years (and a corporate name change) became General Counsel of Infogix, Inc. He then played a key part in the creation of a commercial legal team at Chicago-based CDW, an international hardware and software re-seller. In 2008 John moved to Misys, a banking software company based in London (which is now known as Finastra, and is the third largest FinTech in the world), where he remains today as Vice President, Head of Legal and Commercial Operations – Europe.

John leads his team using a style combining “results-based leadership” with a strong mentoring strategy and team approach to solving problems. He encourages his team members to develop their own areas of subject matter expertise and to use their knowledge and experience to work together to collaborate, innovate and exceed the expectations of the business.

John lives in Warsaw, Poland with his wife and two boys.
