Kate is currently the General Counsel at the UK’s specialist aviation regulator: the Civil Aviation Authority. She landed at the CAA having enjoyed a stint as a legal adviser at the UK’s Department for Transport and following an early career in private practice.
Kate’s approach to her role and that of her teams is guided by and based on a strong sense of purpose, of knowing what she and they should aim for at all times. This provides an invaluable touchstone when making potentially difficult decisions, offering challenging advice and unpicking sticky situations.
Out of the office Kate enjoys walking, cycling, music, travel and eating out, but not always in equal measure.
