Maria is a South African qualified attorney who started her career in litigation and then moved in-house to the financial services sector. She has spent the vast majority of her legal career in the UK and in her last role she was the Head of Legal for Robert Walters Plc, an international company specialising in professional recruitment. She was responsible for managing the legal activity across the UK, Ireland, the Middle East and Africa and in addition to holding this global role, Maria was also responsible for the internal legal operations across the RW group. Maria has dedicated her career to exemplifying a style of leadership that is modelled on kindness and with generosity of spirit guiding her work. She is presently considering her next move, and finding the roles that allow her to make her difference.
