Vicki started her in-house career fresh out of university as a Commercial Executive with an Austrian engineering company, before moving to Siemens as a Contract Manager in 2007.

She qualified as a solicitor and became legal counsel in January 2017, becoming Senior counsel a year later.

In June 2021, Vicki became VP Legal & Compliance for Yunex Traffic (formerly Siemens’ traffic business unit). Since then she has managed the global Legal & Compliance function through the carve-out of the Yunex Traffic business and its subsequent sale to the Italian strategic investment company Atlantia, which closed in June 2022, putting in place a new standalone legal and compliance function made up of internal and external advisors across 25 different jurisdictions and setting up new processes fit for a mid-sized business.

She is passionate about supporting alternative routes into in-house legal careers and recognising that each route brings different strengths, skills and experience.

Vicki qualified with a dual English/ French LLB, and went on to study a Commercial LLM at Bristol part-time, and a post graduate qualification in Marketing, Strategy and Communications from the Université d’Orléans in France.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children and is an enthusiastic but incompetent runner!
